The Secretary-General of the Education Development Fund of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Dr. Ahmed Hosni Al-Hayy, said in a statement today that the participation of Misr International Technological University in the exhibition was represented by the university’s three colleges, which are the Egyptian German College of Technology in Assiut, the College of Industry and Energy in Cairo, and the College of Industry and Energy in Fayoum. The three colleges participated in a number of student graduation projects in various technological departments
He added that the university students presented a number of projects, including a solar cell cleaning robot project, a plastic crusher project, a gas leakage monitoring project, in addition to a production line project, and a smart train project.
The Secretary General of the Education Development Fund indicated that Misr International Technological University, affiliated with the Education Development Fund, is one of the technological universities that were established during the recent period, and is considered a nucleus for technological education in Egypt, which comes within the framework of Egypt’s interest in supporting the path of innovation and technology development, as it is a modern and important tributary. In higher education tracks in Egypt, it aims to provide well-trained technical cadres to join the labor market
The Secretary-General of the Education Development Fund noted that the Seventh Cairo International Innovation Exhibition 2023, in which the State of Portugal is participating as the guest of honor of the exhibition this year, the Science, Technology and Innovation Funding Authority (STDF) as a strategic partner, and the United Institute for Nuclear Sciences in the Russian Federation, and the exhibition witnesses the participation of a number of ministers and statesmen. Investors, businessmen, banks and civil society organizations, in addition to displaying hundreds of innovations and inventions from Egypt, Africa and Arab countries, in the presence of thousands of visitors who are interested in science, technology and innovation.
